Variety.com: Unscripted production company Left Hook Media has signed a production deal with Endemol Shine North America and subsidiary True Entertainment, the companies announced Wednesday.
Left Hook and founders Scott Teti and Matt Odgers are already in production with Endemol Shine North America on “Almost Impossible Game Show” for MTV and with True Entertainment on “Summer House” for Bravo.
Teti and Odgers previously worked at Endemol Shine North America co-CEO Chris Abrego’s 51 Minds Entertainment, where they produced series such as “Flavor of Love,” “Rock of Love” and “I Love New York.”
“I’m personally thrilled to have both Scott and Matt back working with me and with our extended team here at Endemol Shine,” Abrego said. “They are two of the most creative, hard-working guys in this business and they’ve produced nearly every type of unscripted show imaginable. And they are already off and running with several series coming down the pike including ‘Almost Impossible Game Show’ at MTV.”
Steven Weinstock and Glenda Hersh of True Entertainment added, “Scott and Matt have a great history producing edgy and diverse shows that tap into pop culture in a fun and unique way. We’re excited to work with them on ‘Summer House’ and other series that push the envelope across a range of genres.”
